DAPHNIA HABITAT
Daphnia are found in many different places , from huge lakes, to small pools, such as rock pools and vernal pools. They are predominantly the prey of choice for many fish/invertebrates, and are an important factor of many food webs. Some of these invertebrates include the phantom midge Chaoborus and the water boatman Notonecta.
